Biographical History

William Yeates (1830-1901) son of William and Hannah Yeates, was baptized in England on May 10, 1849. Served a mission in the southwest region of England from 1853-1861. Married Sarah Nobles in April 1861 and then moved to Lehi, Utah.

Custodial History

The Journals and Record Book of William Yeates (Yates) were discovered by Albert Winkler in an archival box in 5030 HBLL during the move into the newly constructed Special Collections. No information as to where they came from is available.
