Biographical / Historical
Arthur Townsend was born September 13, 1868 in Brampton, Derbyshire, England, to William Townsend and Emma Ruth Marsden. He married Lovenia Harker on December 28, 1893 and the couple had four children. He served a mission for The Children of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to England. Arthur Townsend died on August 28, 1950 in Murray, Utah.
