The David Foster Cluff mission diaries contain five diaries from David Cluff's mission to Samoa from 1894-1898. Also included are photocopies of the original diaries. The diaries account for David Cluff's day to day mission life in Samoa, his feelings, and thoughts about home.

Biographical History

David Foster Cluff was born on 24 May 1873 in Logan, Utah. He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 1 July 1883. He was set apart as a missionary in the Samoa Mission on 12 October 1894 and served there until 1898. He married Cora Alexander on 16 April 1900. He died 8 August 1938.
