Collection consists of pamphlets and other materials concerning Quaker doctrine, pacifism, and education. The collection dates from 1879-1982. A lot of the collection deals with Swarthmore College, and the First Friends Church.

Biographical History

Emma Gillingham Holloway was born on 24 September 1874 in North Manchester, Indiana to Silas Holloway and Ellen Roberts Gillingham. She died on 25 August 1962 in Dayton, Ohio. Emma G. Holloway was a pioneer woman doctor.
