Biographical History

George LaMar Weight (born 1942) is a Mormon author and teacher who lives in Springville, Utah.

George LaMar Weight was born July 13, 1942, to L. LaMar and Esther Laney Weight. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southwestern States mission. He married Jena Christiansen, and they have seven children. Weight has worked as a teacher of English and social studies, and has supported various extracurricular activities through his role as a teacher. He and his wife currently live in Springville, Utah.
