Scope and Contents
Materials include letters regarding the concern that the scout uniform has been and will be used for fradulent purposes during the war. Materials also include the disucussion of official protection of the scout uniform through the war office and ultimately through parlimentary channels. File also contains letter discussing alternative protection including the official recognition of a bassard as opposed to the entire uniform. Dated 1915-1927.
