File contains letters regarding a misunderstanding between the archbishop of Malta and the scout organization regarding the identity of scouting as religious without a religion. The archbishop was suspicious of allowing Roman Catholics to participate in troops with Protestants. File also includes other letters dealing with the advancement of the scouting movement among Catholics and overcoming suspicians that scouting was a Protestant movement. Dated 1918-1937.
