This is a view from Montgomery Street looking towards Market. In the background to the right are the remains of the Palace Hotel. There is debris in the street and surrounding the buildings. A telephone pole still stands on the right. Note: portions of Montgomery Street were changed to Columbus Ave. in 1909.
