Scope and Contents

Materials include a portion of William Wines Phelps' diary, which has information about his various editing and writing jobs for the Church and thoughts about spiritual matters and theology. He also talks about events happening in Kirtland, Ohio (such as work on temple and his social gatherings with other church members) and news of mob violence in Missouri. Dated 1835.
