The empty casket / Melissa Conklin

Dates: 1975

Report by Brigham Young University folklore student Melissa Conklin, who heard the story from a Sunday school teacher in the late 1960s. The story recounts how when moving remains to a new grave, a cemetery worker opens the casket and finds no body or remains, only an outline in dust.
