Ben Bahlmann interview with Oral B. Birch

Typescript of an interview conducted by Ben Bahlmann on 15 Jan. 2000 in Sandy, Utah. The audiocassette tapes from which the interview was transcribed were kept by Bahlmann. Birch tells about joining the Army Air Corps, his training as a pilot, his experiences in combat during raids over Europe, and being shot down and captured by the Germans.
