Ben Bahlmann interview with Paul F. Jenkel

Dates: 1999

Typescript of an interview conducted by Ben Bahlmann on 18 June 1999 in Bountiful, Utah. Bahlmann retained the audiocassettes from which the interview was transcribed. Jenkel talks about serving with the United States Army in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska and about his transfer to the Army Air Corps. He became a pilot and flew B-17 bombers over Germany and other areas of Germany starting in November of 1944.
