Custodial History
The scrapbooks of this collection were handed down by Martha to her son Frank. His wife Helen Rowe Cragun gave the scrapbooks to the donor Nancy Calkins, a historic perservation consultant. Mrs. Calkins gave the scrapbooks to Brigham Young University on February 2, 2005.

Biographical/Historical note

Martha Amelia Stubbs was born 24 September 1874, in Provo, Utah. She married Calvin Cragun (1862-1939) on 12 June 1901 as his second wife. They began their married life together in Woods Cross, Utah, but after two years they decided to move back to Provo, Utah. They spent the rest of their lives in the Provo area. Together they had three children: Calvin Jr., Oralie Amelia (Wilkinson), and Frank Stubbs.
