Mark Anthony Coombs journals

There are two volumes of the Mark Anthony Coombs Journals. Volume 1: February 16, 1908 - July 14, 1909. 100 photocopied pages. Volume 2: July 15, 1909 - June 14, 1910. 56 photocopied pages. Coombs was living in Cardston, Alberta, when he wrote these journals. The journals discuss meetings of the Cardston Sunday School, ward conferences, and the travel to and from these meetings.

Biographical History

Mark Anthony Coombs was born on July 15, 1868, in Payson, Utah County, Utah. He married Henrietta McCune on March 5, 1890, in Manti, Sanpete County, Utah. He and Henrietta had eight children: Grace, Mark Vernon, Fanny Elizabeth, Morgan Scott, Alma, Henrietta Wolsey, and two other daughters (shown as still living in 2007). He passed away on June 6, 1944, in Nephi, Juab County, Utah.
