Biographical History

Elaine Justesen (1929-) is a genealogist in Utah who has written or contributed to several books on the subject and genealogical works.

Margaret Elaine Toomer Justesen was born June 2, 1929, and went by the name Elaine. She married Glade Clifford Justesen on August 4, 1947. She is a genealogist who has contributed several articles and books on genealogy and specific family histories. She received the distinguished service award from the Utah Genealogical Association in 1998.

Biographical History

William Edward Robinson was born in Spring City, Utah, June 5, 1862, to Emma Lucas and John Robinson. He married Lovina Smith Allred November 22, 1883, in the Salt Lake City, Utah, temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had four children: Ruth, William Loenard, Emma Margaret, and Bertha Melinda. William served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denver, Colorado, from October 1905 to March 1907, as is documented in his daily journal from the period. He died December 22, 1949.

Ruth Robinson was born in Spring City, Utah, October 22, 1884 to William Edward Robinson and Lovina Allred Smith. She married Osman Osborne August 24, 1904, in the Manti, Utah, temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had six children: William Virgus, Emma Pearl, Margaret Lavina, Victor Hayes, Gardell R., and Ethel Ruth. Robinson kept a meticulous journal for over twenty years of her life and contributed abundantly to the community by sewing clothing (notably burial clothing and wedding dresses) and keeping a historical record of the local area. She died August 21, 1969.

Ethel Ruth Osborne was born in Spring City, Utah, October 3, 1920, to Osman Osborne and Ruth Robinson. She married Erwin Leroy Allred May 29, 1948, in the Salt Lake City, Utah, temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had no children. She traveled with her husband, Allred, on Navy assignments throughout the world. She died July 16, 2007.
