Heaton and Virl Lunt oral history interviews

12 audio cassette tapes containing oral history interviews with Heaton and Virl Lunt, recorded between 1965-1975. The interviews discuss life in the Mormon colonies of Mexico, Arizona, and the Lunt families. Two tapes are labeled Virl Lunt's History, another two are labled Our Married Life, and the other eight are the history of Heaton Lunt.

Biographical History

Heaton Lunt was born 7 March 1888 in Moccasin Springs, Mohave, Arizona to Henry and Sarah Ann Lunt. He moved with his family to Colonia Diaz, Mexico to live in the Mormon colonies. There he married Chlose Haws on 12 June 1910. Heaton died 19 September 1969 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona.

Biographical History

Heaton Virl Lunt was born 17 August 1911 in Colonia Paheco, Chihuahua, Mexico, the firstborn to Heaton Lunt and Chloe Haws. He married Viva Jones 14 November 1931 in Virden, Hidalgo, Mexico. Virl died 3 August 1974 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona.
