Contains a bound book which is made up of an oral history interview with Wendell Van Twelves. There is also a series of correspondence between Wendell and Henry Sakaida, a couple of newspaper articles regarding Van Twelves's service in the military, and the accident and flying regulation violation record from his time in the military. All records except for the oral history interview are photocopies.

Biographical History

Wendell Van Twelves (1921-1991) was a fighter pilot during the Second World War and Korean War. He was awarded the Navy Cross and a Silver Star.

Wendell Van Twelves was born June 7, 1921 in Spanish Fork, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University before enlisting in the military during World War II as a fighter pilot. He died 20 November 1991, in Stanford, California.
