James P. Cowley is the author of a biography about his great-grandmother Sarah Houston Pratt Taussig.

James P. Cowley was born to Charles and Leah Gardner Cowley. He married Patricia Beckstead in 1958. They had 4 children. James P. Cowley is the great-grandson of Sarah Houston Pratt Taussig. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
