Biographical History

Lee T. Cox (b. 1929) is a Mormon chemist in Utah.

Lee Taylor Cox was born on May 1, 1929 in Provo, Utah to Orville Stanley Cox and Alice Richards Taylor. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints between 1950 and 1952 in the Canadian Mission. After his return he completed a bachelor's and master's degree in chemisty at Brigham Young University. He then pursued graduate studies at Iowa State University.

Cox pursued his career as a chemist in Washington State and Michigan before returning to Utah in 1972.
