Biographical / Historical
Calvin Henry Bartholomew (1917-1991) was a U.S. Amry Veteran, husband, and father. Calvin Henry Bartholomew was born on January 8, 1917 in Fayette, Utah to parents Ray Clavin and Martha Louise Wintch Bartholomew. He served an LDS Mission in Germany and Austria from the years 1937-1939. He served as a member of the U.S. Army from 1942-1946 in North Africa, Maryland, and Europe.
He married June Barton on December 20, 1941 in Manti, Utah. Together they had eight children.
Bartholomew passed away on February 13, 1991 in Friedricksdorf, Germany while he and his wife were serving a family history mission at the Germany genealogy service center. He is buried in Provo, Utah.
