Biographical note

Frederick Whitaker Taylor (1866-1952) was a doctor in Utah.

Frederick Whitaker Taylor was born July 18, 1866 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the son of John Taylor, the third president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Sophia Whitaker Taylor (John Taylor's fifth wife). In 1887 he married Amelia Richards. He recieved his medical degree in 1893 and practiced until 1914 when World War I began and he entered the Medical Corps as a captain, and served in the Fort Douglas hospital. He died January 11, 1952 and is buried in the Provo, Utah cemetery.
