Biographical History

Lloyd Wayland Macfarlane (1914-1997) was a doctor in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Lloyd Wayland Macfarlane was born in Cedar City, Utah on Sept. 7, 1914 to Dr. Menzies J. and Katherine Palmer MacFarlane. He attended University of Utah where he graduated with honors. He went on to study medicine at Cornell University College of Medicine in New York City. Lloyd married Dorothy Smith on August 24, 1940 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Lloyd taught at University of Utah College of Medicine. Lloyd and Dorothy have two children--Dr. Katherine Nell MacFarlane and Jane Louise MacFarlane. Lloyd Wayland Macfarlane passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct. 28, 1997.
