Scope and Contents

Typescript of a biography of C. C. A. Christensen (1831-1912) by his granddaughter Norma Taggart "with the help of her daughter, Ethel Taggart Christensen." The account uses many direct quotes from the diaries and autobiography of C. C. A. Christensen. Mr. Christensen was an artist, writer, and historian who was born and raised in Denmark and later immigrated to Utah. He served as a missionary and as a patriarch for the Mormon Church. This biography is chiefly concerned with Mr. Christensen's career as an artist.

Also included are two articles from Danish periodicals about Christensen and his art eareer.
