Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a newspaper article called "Life Sketch of T. A. Waddoups." The item was created at an unknown time. Waddoups was the president of the Hawaiian Colony and manager of the Isepa Agricultural and Stocky Company from 1901 to 1917. In 1868 Hawaiian converts began coming to Utah to perform their Mormon temple ordinances. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints purchased the Quiney ranch in Skull Valley, Utah, In Tooele County. Also included is a photocopy of a typescript of a history of the Hawaiian Colony.
