This collection deals primarily with the different religions found in the Provo and Orem areas of Utah. The individual histories of a large selection of Christian and non-Christian religions and how they began in Utah is the main focus of this collection.

Biographical/Historical note

The Department of Family and Community History is part of the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences. The department used to be located in the Knight Mangum Building, but has since been relocated to the Joseph Fielding Smith Building. It is now known as the Center for Family History and Genealogy.
