Administrative History

The Computer Science Department was organized in 1970 with C. Edwin Dean as chairman. In February 1971, the Department was moved into the newly finished James E. Talmage Mathematical Sciences-Computer Building. Later, in 1972, the Computer Science Department became part of the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
