The American Society of Agronomy (1907- ) is an international scientific society that fosters the transfer of knowledge and practices to sustain global agronomy.

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, and founded in 1907, ASA is the professional home for over 8,000 members and 14,000 certified professionals dedicated to advancing the field of agronomy. The Society provides information about agronomy in relation to soils, crop production, environmental quality, ecosystem sustainability, bioremediation, waste management, recycling, and wise land use.

ASA supports its members and certified professionals by providing quality research-based publications, educational programs, certifications, and science policy initiatives.

ASA, the Crop Science Society of America, and the Soil Science Society of America share a working relationship.
