Letter from Richards, Winter Quarters, to Thomas L. Kane, Philadelphia, Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball are away on business, Orson Spencer will take letter, Spencer is going to preside in the European Conferences, the Omahas have killed several cattle, news of other settlements, on 12 September a battle was fought at Nauvoo, Wilford Woodruff was hurt by a falling tree. Dated October 28, 1846.
