Letter from Grant, Philadelphia, to Thomas L. Kane, he will take the course Thomas L. Kane advises with "the Papers, etc." he had hoped that Thomas L. Kane knew of their "domestic relations," until he saw Thomas L. Kane's letter to Fillmore, he had felt bound to tell Thomas L. Kane about polygamy. Dated December 29, 1851.
