Scope and Contents
Journal written by Elizabeth Wood Kane from the year 1872 to 1873. The journal contains accounts of her travels to Utah with her husband and family. She writs her observations of Mormon pioneers, Mormon-Indian relations, the Female Relief Society, Mormon worship services and sermons, polygamy, agriculture and Utah territory's natural environment. Dated December 25, 1872 to March 10, 1873.
