Materials include a letter to Sally Phelps in Liberty, Missouri from William Wines Phelps in Kirtland, Ohio, dated April 1836. It states that the Kirtland Temple was dedicated on Sunday, March 27, 1836, with congregation of about 1,000 in the House and as many outside.
